NexBank Wealth Advisor’s has an opening for an experienced Business Development Associate to further develop the RIA. This individual will lead business development and marketing initiatives for NexBank Wealth Advisors. They will create, manage and lead marketing initiatives to drive business growth. The Marketing group will work closely with investment strategy team to communicate clearly our firm’s value proposition. This position will be based in Dallas.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage current relationships and further develop existing firm relationships
  • Develop new relationships by building a pipeline of opportunities
  • Manage all activity around client relationships and lead entire process of asset gathering, including long term relationship maintenance and development
  • Partner with centers of influence to build relationships and develop a network of potential referral sources.
  • Assess Prospects’ financial needs and objectives
  • Present the company’s investment strategies and solutions throughout the region
  • Create marketing collateral (both content and design)
  • Conduct appropriate market research on target prospects, set up meetings and clearly communicate the firm’s strategies
  • Support greater marketing initiatives and best practices as needed, assist in implementing and enforcing brand standards

Qualifications

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of business experience in financial services
  • Must hold Series 65 (Series 63 & 7 preferred)
  • Prior experience developing strategies for new client outreach
  • Experience networking and expanding customer base
  • Broad background in general investment matters
  • The ability to explain difficult concepts in easy understandable ways
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a rigorous, fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter, energetic and results-oriented
  • Strategic thinker with a strong desire for continuous improvement

NexBank Wealth Advisors is looking for a Client Service Associate that will help grow our new wealth management initiatives. They will directly influence the client experience and are essential to the success of our organization. In this role, you will be in a collaborative, client-focused environment utilizing your organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. The Client Associate supports the Wealth Advisor in servicing the needs of high net worth clients. Our ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, has a willingness to learn and wants to be challenged.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the client onboarding process and ongoing data maintenance by collecting and organizing the incoming client information and documents
  • Act as first point of contact with clients and outside advisors regarding day to day and operational client matters
  • Coordinate information requests for investments and other business activities with client, client assistants and other outside advisors
  • Maintain client files and records, including scanning of mail and updating CRM system (contact information, non-financial assets, etc.)
  • Coordinate with back office to create and track receipt of various paperwork for client signature (financial management agreements, letters of authorization, account paperwork, tax documents and returns, etc.)
  • Banking and investment account transactions
    o​ Cash movement (domestic, international) – checks, wires, journals, ACH
    o Manage check deposit procedures
    o Cash management to ensure funds availability for fees, invoices, investment capital calls and other recurring transactions
    o Quarterly income tax payments and real estate tax payments
  • Research and answer client questions related to investment account activity, balances, and other miscellaneous requests

Minimum Position Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, and initiative
  • Extensive background in use of Windows and Microsoft based products, including Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Internet applications
  • Ability to maintain extreme confidentiality in dealing with client matters
  • Attention to detail and organizational skill must be a strength

Other Essential Candidate Traits:

  • Extensive experience with Salesforce or other CRM system highly preferred
  • General knowledge and understanding of private client/personal financial services industry preferred
  • Familiarization with entity structures (trusts, partnerships, corporations, etc.)
  • Ability to be proactive and anticipate issues and problems and work quickly and proactively to solve them
  • Willingness to learn, expand responsibility

The successful candidate must possess an entrepreneurial mindset and be able to use their current network of contacts as well as our own internal and external referral sources to initiate and grow our business. This position serves as a trusted advisor to our affluent clients with a primary focus on providing comprehensive guidance to prospective clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and foster meaningful client relationships through outbound efforts
  • Introduce and educate individuals on the our approach to investment management
  • Determine clients’ financial needs and areas of improvement
  • Deliver customized solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals
  • Function as the primary trusted advisor to the firm’s high net worth clients
  • Ensure retention of the firm’s clients as well as generate referrals
  • Support the team as a subject matter expert in the areas of investments and financial planning
  • Provide financial planning and investment advice to the firm’s high net worth clients
  • Develop investment policy statement with each client based in their risk tolerance and goals
  • Discuss market trends and review investment performance with the clients
  • Analyze prospective clients’ investment portfolios and introduce new clients to the firm
  • Manage client communications and follow-up with clients’ other advisors
  • Attend company workshops or lectures and speak to groups of potential clients when called upon

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
  • 5+ years of relationship management with affluent and high net worth clients across a broad array of wealth management products and services including experience with alternative investments. Proven business development results.
  • Series 65 or Series 66 license required unless candidate holds one of the following credentials: Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Investment Consultant (CIC)
  • CFP® credential strongly preferred
  • Experience with financial planning software (MoneyGuidePro or eMoney) is highly desired
  • Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and analytical skills
  • Proven time management and organizational skills in high volume, high energy environments
  • Strong knowledge of and the ability to present investment, insurance, and financial planning concepts
  • Must be a self-starter, entrepreneurial, hardworking, team player with a positive, “can do” attitude
  • Strong computer aptitude with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
